Original story (from September 03) follows:

Thanks to its unique approach that not only focuses on hardware but also on the quality of software experience on devices, OnePlus has become a household name in the smartphone business.

To further stand out, OnePlus joined Google in offering not just timely software updates, but also a longer support window of at least three years. Matter of fact, the Chinese vendor is one of only three OEMs that guarantee three Android OS updates for its devices.

The newest software to arrive is OxygenOS 11 update based on Android 11, the latest and greatest from Google. Unveiled in June for OnePlus app developers, the new skin is expected to hit the Open Beta channel in the coming days and stable in weeks.

Q: Sliding pauses on the desktop will slip into the search interface, it is recommended to add a switch to prevent mishaps.
A: When you receive a lot of refueling feedback sliding into the drawer, it is easy to misoperation into the search interface. In response, we added a “quick search” switch to the latest version of the desktop (5.0.2.1), which can be turned off to avoid these problems. Stay tuned for this feature, which is currently part of the OnePlus 8/8 Pro/8T series, and the OnePlus 6/6T/7/7T will be available in the future. Here’s how: Press and hold the desktop – home screen settings – quick search – turn off the “on” switch.

Q: Will the screen display be very power-hungry?
A: The scenario for the breath screen display is based on the self-illuminating nature of the OLED display, lighting only each pixel that needs to be displayed, and the background processor is dormant. The display is more power-efficient than frequently lighting the screen for information such as time, and even when lit throughout the day, it doesn’t significantly affect how long your phone’s battery is used.

Q: Will turning on the screen all day cause the screen to burn?
A: After the phone has a long hour of breath, the picture AOD will have a slight position adjustment, time AOD will be in the left and right of the screen timely change position, refueling can not worry too much about burning screen.

Q: Why does the “Clear All” button need to be pulled down when multiple app notifications appear in the notification bar after upgrading to hydrogen OS 11?
A: This issue has been optimized in the latest version and can be done without a down notification or by clicking the Clear All button directly. Refuel by simply updating the system version to the latest version.

Q: Why doesn’t the lock screen clock change after the personalization page sets the clock style?
A: The lock screen clock style is fixed and cannot be modified at this time. The clock style of the personalization page applies only to the display of the breathing screen. We also continuously listen to user feedback and continuously optimize our product modules.

Bug Answers:

Q: Why doesn’t the status bar show charging status when charging when onePlus 8/8Pro updates hydrogen OS 11?
A: This issue has been fixed in the latest stable version of OnePlus 8/8Pro, and refueling can be resolved by simply updating the system version to the latest version.

Q: Why doesn’t the OnePlus Buds connected phone have a bounce window?
A: If you have any of these issues, update OnePlus Buds to the latest version 1.1.1.1 in the store before you try the following steps: Pull down the status bar – Open location information – turn bluetooth back on, try connecting your phone again. You can also remove the case and headphone case and try the headset close to the phone. If you still have problems after trying the above methods, refueling can submit bug feedback to the Community Feedback Area.

Q: Why can’t OnePlus 8/8 Pro/8T WeChat double-on view all photos in my phone album, only a few albums?
Q: Why do pictures, screenshots, etc. saved from the three-way app not appear in the gallery and can only be found in file management?
A: The above issues have been resolved in the latest version of the gallery, refueling people only need to update the mobile phone system and gallery (4.0.104) to the latest version to solve the above problems.

Q: Why is it that selecting more than two pictures in the gallery to share with WeChat at the same time prompts for sharing failures?
A: This problem is known, we are actively promoting WeChat optimization, refueling can also feedback the problem to the three-way application side, jointly promote the problem resolution. Please be patient and wait for subsequent app version updates and update to the latest version in a timely manner.

Q: Why does the OnePlus 8T flash white when the fingerprint unlocks into the screen?
A: This issue has been fixed, please upgrade the system version to the latest stable version to resolve the issue.

Q: Why does the tone of the screen change before and after fingerprint unlock when eye protection/night mode is turned on?
A: Tone changes occur when you unlock with your fingerprint when eye protection/night mode is turned on. This is because when the fingerprint is unlocked, the screen needs precise white to ensure the accuracy of the fingerprint identification, this state can not have a warm color tendency. If the screen tone is warmer, it may result in a reduced unlock success rate.
