Huawei’s EMUI 9.1 has been an attention grabber for Huawei/Honor smartphone users since it was announced at the launch of Huawei P30 series in Paris. After all, the Android Pie-based latest EMUI 9.1 brings support for GPU Turbo 3.0, EROFS technology & Ark Compiler apart from a revamped UI.

Just recently, the Chinese OEM shared the EMUI 9.1 update progress on a slew of Huawei/Honor phones, 49 devices to mention the exact number. The list includes 19 phones that’ve already been bumped to EMUI 9.1, and the ones for which EMUI 9.1 is either under public beta or internal testing.

During the past few days, EMUI 9.1 has landed on phones namely Huawei Mate 10, Huawei P20 Pro, Honor 10, Honor 7X (as of this morning), Honor 9 Lite, Honor View 10, Honor Play, and is set to be rolled out to many others in the coming days.

And now, the OEM has come up with the EMUI 9.1 rollout timeline for Huawei/Honor phones that are either scheduled to be upgraded in the coming month or the ones which have already been updated during this month. But not via OTA, rather by manual registration through the HiCare app.

The post says, “users can manually download and install EMUI 9.1 without waiting for OTA update.”

Among the eligible devices, in the later half of the current month (i.e. July), EMUI 9.1 HiCare registration began for Huawei phones like nova 3, nova 3i, Mate 20 Pro, P30 Lite and Honor devices namely Honor Play, V10, V20, Honor 10, 8 Pro, 7X and 8X. Following are the exact dates.

Just in case you aren’t aware, among the above listed phones, EMUI 9.1 for Huawei P20 Pro has already been pushed in some regions. Anyway, here’s hoping rest of the above-listed as well as non-listed eligible Huawei/Honor phones get to experience the latest EMUI 9.1 sometime soon.

Needless to say, we’re keeping a close watch and will let you know as and when the promised updates get live. So keep a tab on this space.
