MovieBox, as some of you may already know, is a streaming app for iOS users that lets them watch and/ download HD movies and TV shows on their devices for free.
But there is a bad news for MovieBox users. It is now coming to light that the app has been shut down. Users of the app, which is available for iOS devices and is very popular, have been reporting issues with the service for the past couple of days.

And apparently, this isn’t any app-side glitch.
According to a Twitter handle @dtathemes, the app’s developer has confirmed it’s been shut down. Here’s what the developer reportedly said:
Sorry, but it seems to me that the app will not work anymore. The team decided to close the iOS project. Thank you for your help you have provided these years.

MovieBox’s Android counterpart ShowBox has also suffered a massive glitch. There are even rumors that app has been shut down like MovieBox. More info here.
