Original story (from Sept 24) follows:

The September security patch landed on international Samsung Galaxy Note 10 lineup nearly 3 weeks ago. The Korean OEM even pushed a subsequent smaller bugfix update to improve the call quality. Recently the carrier branded 5G units also started receiving the most up-to-date patch.

The other Samsung flagship of this year, e.g. the Galaxy S10 family, was blessed with a leak earlier this month before the official rollout. However, only US Snapdragon powered units got the update – including the carrier unlocked variant. But the global S10 users did not receive the same love.

The September patch made its way to a handful of mid-range and legacy Samsung phones, such as Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy J7 Pro etc. Tablets are also part of the roster, as Verizon rolled out the new patchset to Galaxy Tab S3 and S4.

Looks like Samsung finally decided to deliver the update to international Galaxy S10 owners, as multiple users reported about getting a gigantic (600 to 1200 MB) OTA on their phones. The changelog is pretty intensive, as the company backported a lot of components from Galaxy Note 10 series.

The software version (ASIG/ASIE) is newer than most of the existing September patches pushed by Samsung. However, they did not updated the bootloader (still at v3), so end users can safely rollback to older builds if they want.

Nonetheless, we talked about porting the new Note 10 specific DeX features to older Galaxy Phones and it is happening right now. They also introduced new camera functionalities (Live Focus, AR Doodle, Super Steady) and revised the stock Video Editor app.

As always, those who are impatient and want to skip the long waiting queue should opt for Frija to download the updated firmware straight from Samsung servers. The One UI 2.0/Android 10 update for Galaxy S10e/S10/S10+ is reportedly under testing, so be prepared for more adventures!

Update 1 (Oct 04)

Galaxy S10/S10+ users in India are also receiving the September OTA now.
