MIUI 12 is rolling out to more and more Xiaomi devices with each passing day. A decent number of devices have already been updated and for more coverage and download links, you might want to check out our dedicated MIUI 12 tracker.
At the beginning of this month, Xiaomi announced the rollout of a stable build of MIUI 12 for a number of Mi devices including the Xiaomi Mi 9, Mi 9T, Mi 9T Pro, Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro.
Since then, we have seen many of these devices actually get updated. Even though this is a limited rollout, some users of these devices have reported receiving the update. These devices whose users have reported receiving the MIUI 12 update include the Indian variant of the Redmi K20 Pro, the Chinese Redmi K20 Pro, Indian K20 and the Mi 9T Pro.
On June 25, we got reports that the Global version of the Xiaomi Mi 9T was getting a stable build of MIUI 12. Since then, however, it looks like users haven’t been receiving this update that has reportedly been rolled out.
These queries are coming from Mi 9T users across the globe from Bangladesh, Singapore, Portugal among other regions.
Even as this unfolds, the moderators of the Mi Community forums insist that the MIUI 12 update for the Xiaomi Mi 9T has been pushed out and that it should hit eligible devices in due course.

These users are clearly on edge, borderline losing their patience with each passing day that MIUI 12 update does not hit their devices. Users who opted to install MIUI 12 on their Mi 9T devices manually have also had little success.
If I try to manually update the MIUI 12 global file. With system update. It says that it cannot verify. Why is that?
For now, it is a matter of waiting for the MIUI 12 update to finally roll out to more Mi 9T users across the globe. Sit tight and keep checking for software updates on your device.
