This story is being continuously updated…. New updates are being added at the bottom…..

Original story (from July 31) follows:

The Xiaomi Mi 9T first began receiving the MIUI 12 update a couple of weeks ago. It was released for the Global, European, and Russian variants of the device. As a matter of fact, even the Redmi K20 bagged the new fresh new skin from Xiaomi in India alongside the Global units.

FYI, the Mi 9T is sold as the Redmi K20 in India. Nevertheless, the excitement for the new update was cut short since Xiaomi paused the rollout for Global, European, and Russian units. However, the release for the Redmi K20 was not affected.

After a brief pause, a new update carrying MIUI 12 for the Global Mi 9T units was released a couple of days ago. But there was no information about when the update will be re-released for the European and Russian units.

Fortunately, the waiting wasn’t all that long. Xiaomi Mi 9T users with the European units are now beginning to receive the stable MIUI 12 update on their devices. Thus, it’s safe to say that it has been re-released in Europe.

The update comes as version V12.0.2.0.QFJEUXM and is based on Android 10. As expected, it brings a ton of new features and improvements over MIUI 11. We’ve listed the entire changelog for the update below:

Unfortunately, there’s still no word on when we can expect MIUI 12 to be re-released for the Russian Mi 9T variant. Although, judging by how quickly it arrived for the European units after it first re-released for the Global ones, we don’t think the wait will be too long.

As usual, we will post an update once the update goes live in Russia again. In the meantime, you can check out our MIUI 12 update tracker to know when it arrives on your device or any remaining MIUI 12 eligible phone for that matter.
