Rejoice! Because as per recent reports, one more device has been ticked off from the list of Honor phones receiving the VoWiFi (WiFi calling) feature. Notably, the Honor View 10 is receiving a new security update that triggers the VoWiFi on the device.

The Honor View 10 that also goes by the name Honor V10 in China, is picking up the April 2020 security update that alongside the WiFi calling feature, also brings Huawei Assistant and Smart Charging feature for the device.

Well, the VoWiFi feature for the Honor View 10 was slated to arrive, as per one of our reports, somewhere in mid-May. But, the fans have been treated with the update, a little earlier.

The update arrives with version number 10.0.0175 and weighs in around 725 MB in size. Here is the complete changelog of this latest update received on the Honor View 10.

Talk about the Smart Charging feature that this new update brings, uses the device’s built-in AI capabilities to learn and adapt to the usage patterns of the user. This ultimately helps in slowing down the battery charging to 100% as per the usage.

For example, if this mode is enabled, when the device is put on charging, it will slow down once it reaches 80% and will slow down the charging rate to 100% to prevent the battery from overnight charging.
