New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on January 16, 2020) follows:

The stable version of Android 10 was officially launched back in September 2019. While some devices were lucky enough to get updated on the same day, most of them weren’t.

The following months were highlighted with beta tests and recruitments, with many timelines hinting towards a Q1 2020 rollout to most devices. Well, its January and true, some OEMs have pushed such OTAs. Realme is slated to roll out the update to some of its devices as from this month.

In October 2019, Realme announced the Android 10 roadmap. According to the preliminary plan, Realme 5 Pro (sold in China as Realme Q), along with Realme 3 Pro and Realme X, was slated for a Q1 update to Android 10.

Fast forward to January and Realme China has released a more detailed roadmap for Realme UI rollout.

While there are no new devices is in the new timelines, we now know when exactly in Q1 Android 10 is expected to be available for the named devices. From the list, Realme Q (Realme 5 Pro) should get updated in February 2020.

It is also worth noting that the October timelines released by Realme were for ColorOS 7. Realme UI was initially exclusive to India. However, seeing as to how Realme UI is expected to be based on ColorOS 7, these should be a lot similar.

Realme UI is already available for users in China for the Realme X and Realme X2 Pro, while Realme X2 should receive it in next month. However, these are all in the testing phase, so no stable rollout just yet.

Now the new plan describes this (please note that this has been directly translated from Chinese):

“So do real fans have the opportunity to experience realme UI in advance? The answer is yes. Realme X and X2 Pro’s early adopters of real OS X, including realme X2 users who are currently participating, and realme Q users who are about to sign up for early adopters, will receive the realme UI containing realme UI at a predetermined pace. Update push.”
