If you own a Huawei P30 Pro then, there is a new security update available for download. Notably, this new security update brings the February 2020 patch, which shows the laziness of the Chinese OEM, as we are already halfway through the April month.

VoWiFi has been a much-demanded feature by the smartphone users of different OEMs. While brands like Realme has made VoWiFi (WiFi calling) available for all of its phones, Huawei has just recently joined this bandwagon.

And while Huawei is late to join this party, Honor already served quite a few of its devices with this feature. To recall, Honor has enabled VoWiFi feature on Honor PlayHonor 20iHonor 9XHonor 8XHonor 10 Lite, while devices like Honor 9N and Honor 9 Lite are yet to get this update along with others as it is still under development.

Besides, the Huawei P30 Pro, which was launched back in 2019, was expecting this feature to arrive on the devices this month. And it seems like the company has made the VoWiFi feature available as planned.

Talking about the new update, the OTA weighs in around 1.05 GB, which is quite hefty, so it is advised to download this update on a stable internet connection. It carries the version number 10.0.0.193.

Here is the complete changelog of the new security update on the Indian models of the Huawei P30 Pro:

WiFi Calling or more popularly known as VoWiFi has its advantages of using the WiFi network over your mobile signal. For instance, stable and crisp call quality, calls from any parts of the world, better coverage, etc.

And in order to activate and use VoWiFi on your Huawei P30 Pro, head over to Settings>>More>>WiFi Calling. Here you simply need to toggle the Wi-Fi Calling switch to On position.

As far as this new update is concerned, it is being pushed via OTA and will take some time in hitting all the units. You can head over to Settings>>System Update to check for the notification manually.
