New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…

Original story (published on April 19, 2021) follows:

MIUI 12.5 development may be in full swing currently especially now that we have already got an official timeline of devices testing MIUI 12.5 stable beta. But Xiaomi is still clearly not done with MIUI 12 yet.

A greater part of the devices eligible for MIUI 12.5 is set to bag the update sometime in the May-June period in China. This means that global releases may take even longer.

There are also several devices that have still not received the Android 11 update. A good example for this is the Redmi Note 9 Pro/Pro Max that has seen back-to-back delays with regards to Android 11.

In such a case, it makes sense to have a Mi Pilot Testers program dedicated to global MIUI 12 ROMs. After all, it’s still several months till MIUI 12.5 stable rolls out to most of the global eligible devices.

It would have been great if global users could also lend a hand in the development of MIUI 12.5. But hey, at least there’s some form of stable/beta testing available for the global users where there could’ve been none.

Anyway, Xiaomi had kickstarted their first instance of the Mi Pilot MIUI 12 Stable ROM Testers program back in early February for a bunch of Mi, Redmi, and Poco devices. This was followed by the release of the list of selected participants a month later.

Since then, a new new Pilot Testers program dedicated to Poco users has also been launched. These programs have also seen a couple of restarts to reel in some more Pilot Testers and have also seen expansions to a few more regions.

But of course, participants are most interested in knowing if they’ve been selected for the program, which can get a tad difficult in such a mess.

Thankfully, some kind peeps at the Xiaomi Global Community took the initiative to break down the main list of selected participants into smaller lists to clear some of the confusion.

You are free to select the list for your region and download it directly:

Redmi Russia ROM
Mi Russia ROM
Poco Indonesia ROM
Redmi Indonesia ROM
Mi Indonesia ROM
Poco India ROM
Redmi India ROM

Do keep in mind that the list for the Indian ROM is currently incomplete as the recruitment process is still going on. The results for that will be announced later so stay tuned.

For now, be sure to keep an eye on our dedicated Xiaomi Android 11 update and MIUI 12.5 update trackers to stay in the loop.
