Vivo has already provided the Android 10-based Funtouch OS 10 update to many of its devices. While devices like the Vivo S1, S1 Pro, V11 Pro, V15 Pro, and Z1 Pro have received the latest update, there’s a catch.

It was reported earlier that the above-mentioned devices have been receiving the Android 10-based Funtouch OS 10 update as part of the greyscale testing. The greyscale testing phase is basically carried out to ensure that there are no major issues with the software.

Now, Vivo India has once again stated in response to multiple queries that the Vivo S1, S1 Pro, V11 Pro, V15 Pro, and Z1 Pro have been receiving the latest update under the greyscale test. Also, users will be notified once the update is ready for their respective device(s).

It must be noted that the OEM has been rolling out the Android 10 (Funtouch OS 10) update to these devices since July. This is why those who have still not received the update are taking their concerns to Vivo.

Every OEM wants to deliver the most stable software which is also why Vivo is asking its users to be patient. Hopefully, the OEM soon releases the Android 10-based Funtouch OS 10 update on a bigger scale for the Vivo S1, S1 Pro, V11 Pro, V15 Pro, and Z1 Pro.

Update 1 (August 19)

A user on Twitter has now shared a screenshot of a conversation with Vivo support in which the company has confirmed that the Android 10 greyscale testing is going on for the NEX series, Vivo V17 Pro, Z1X, Z1Pro, V15 Pro, V15, S1 Pro, S1, V11 Pro, and V11.

Update 2 (September 04)

IST 06:40 pm: According to Vivo India on Twitter, the company has already released the stable Android 10 update for the Vivo S1 Pro in the country. However, there aren’t many user reports confirming the rollout. For more details, head here.

IST 06:57 pm: It seems that Vivo has re-released the stable Android 10 update for the Vivo Z1Pro. The update is rolling out as version 6.10.5 and weighs in at 144.72 MBs for users who are already on Android 10 and 3.1GB for users coming from Android 9 Pie.
