Original story (published on February 18, 2020) follows:

Realme revealed its official Realme UI 1.0 (Android 10) timeline in early January, but this was meant for the Chinese market. According to the timeline, the Realme Q, which is the name of the Realme 5 Pro in China, should pick up the Realme UI update in March 2020.

This, however, will be the stable version, with the beta version scheduled for February 2020. Matter of fact, as of this writing, folks in China can already join the Realme UI beta program with their Realme Q units.

After China, Realme UI release timeline for India was also announced, placing the Realme 5 Pro Realme UI update in February 2020. Unlike the Chinese roadmap, Realme didn’t specify whether this will be the beta or stable version.

And now that folks in China are already tasting Android 10 beta on their Realme Q units, their Indian counterparts have started salivating and consequently asking questions about the availability of Realme 5 Pro Android 10 beta update.

In response, Realme India support says the device won’t get a beta version of Realme UI. Instead, it will be updated directly from stable Android Pie to stable Android 10.

A while back, Realme India support also said the same thing regarding the Realme X Realme UI update – that it won’t be going through the beta testing phase, instead, it will jump straight to the stable version this month.

Matter of fact, it seems Realme devices in India won’t be actively participating in the Realme UI beta program. Sure, the Realme 3 Pro and Realme XT got the nod last month, but hardly had people signed up than the stable version started rolling out.

With March fast-approaching, it remains to be seen if the Realme 5 Pro Realme UI update will indeed arrive this month. We will let you know when it arrives, so stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
