MIUI 12.5 stable update rolling out now, credits to Xiaomi.eu ROM (Download links inside)

After a long wait and a lengthy beta testing phase, the first instances of MIUI 12.5 stable are now rolling out to select flagship-level devices.

The releases kickstarted with Xiaomi’s yesteryear flagship – the Mi 10 Ultra – and then trickled to other high-end devices like the Mi 11, Mi 10/10 Pro, and the Mi 9 SE.

Of course, these releases are currently limited to China, that too in the stable beta form. Stable global MIUI 12.5 releases may therefore take a while.

But for the impatient ones out there, there is some good news. The MIUI 12.5 stable builds are already available globally through the highly popular community project known as Xiaomi.eu.

Builds under Xiaomi.eu are known to be performance-focused whilst also incorporating some of the latest features that are not available under the global MIUI branch.

This is because they’re based on the Chinese stable and beta builds with a few tweaks and additions. For starters, all Xiaomi.eu ROMs do away with ads and bloatware. Google apps are added as well since the Chinese MIUI version doesn’t include them.

These ROMs are released on a weekly basis for almost every Xiaomi device with an active beta program. But now that MIUI 12.5 has finally hit stable, Xiaomi.eu MIUI 12.5 builds have followed as well.

Although this does not mean that beta Xiaomi.eu builds have ceased. We previously highlighted how the Xiaomi.eu beta branch has now jumped onto MIUI 12.6.
