Xiaomi is consistently developing its skin to make it more feature-rich and stable. All Xiaomi devices, including the Poco devices, run on Xiaomi’s MIUI.

Xiaomi seems really dedicated to further development and betterment of MIUI. This becomes evident as the OEM has introduced big changes with MIUI 12.5 and this comes right when MIUI 12 deployment drive is almost about to end.

A plethora of new features has already been listed out on the website. These changes also include the addition of more MIUI 12.5 Super Wallpapers and a new concept called MIUI+.

MIUI 12.5 further enhances stability and will bring optimizations ahead of MIUI 13 update later next year.

A video has also surfaced online that gives the first look at all that has been introduced with the MIUI 12.5 update.

The clip takes you through the complete changelog, revamped visuals, fresh AOD styles, and the maiden glimpses at the MIUI 12.5 update.

The first look of MIUI 12.5 hints at a refreshing UI experience and the initial impressions look positive with much fewer bloatware.

Apparently, MIUI 12.5 still remains within Chinese borders and is going to take a couple of months to finally arrive globally.

The first set of devices are scheduled to bag stable updates by the end of April with flagships as the first ones in the queue. Head here to check the complete timeline.

Since MIUI 12.5 is still in the beta state, we expect it to undergo a series of improvements to make it look even better as a stable update.
