With each MIUI version, Xiaomi brings a bunch of new features and improvements for its users to relish. Moreover, it does not stop adding or refining existing features to provide users the best user experience.

Take for example the default system launcher. Over the past few months, Xiaomi has been experimenting with several new features for the MIUI 12 system launcher through its beta channel.

As regular PiunikaWeb readers would know, we’ve covered most of the major new additions to the MIUI 12 system launcher such as the Horizontal Recents option, redesigned icons section, and more.

Not only new features, but Xiaomi has also rolls out updates for the MIUI launcher to fix bugs or refine certain elements as we’ve reported earlier.

Traditionally, most of the new features are introduced via alpha updates that are available to a limited number of users only before making their way to the stable ROMs.
