Latest MIUI 12 System Launcher update adds new Horizontal Recents option, animation in/out of recent task, & bug fixes
Xiaomi has been constantly fine-tuning MIUI 12 as new features and improvements keep on arriving with beta updates.
However, the OEM is also enhancing the user experience by refining individual apps like MIUI System Launcher.
It was reported earlier that MIUI System Launcher got a bunch of bug fixes and improvements with the alpha update version V22.214.171.1241-10131834.
Now, another alpha update is out for the launcher app which brings some new features and more bug fixes for MIUI 12 users.
The MIUI System Launcher alpha update version V126.96.36.1995-10261728 includes a new option for MIUI 12 users to arrange the recent applications horizontally. It’s unclear if MIUI 11 users get this function too.
Apart from that, the launcher update brings fixes for a couple of bugs related to incorrect points and disappearing folder icons since upgrading to MIUI 12 update.
Also, there are adjustments for the Gaussian blur scheme and recent applications menu animations along with optimization for the application freeze unloading issue.
