Although Chinese smartphone vendor Oppo joined the Android 10 rollout bandwagon late as compared to its counterparts, it has carried on with a constant pace and as of now, has updated a bunch of its eligible devices with Android 10 (ColorOS 7) update.

And cut to now, important information related to the ColorOS 7 (Android 10) stable update release plan for July has been shared by Oppo on its official community platform.

This July 2020 stable Android 10 (ColorOS 7) update plan includes the release dates for Oppo R15, R15 Pro, Oppo A9, A9x, A3, and Oppo A91 for users in China.


Notably, the first batch of ColorOS 7 beta recruitment is already available for Chinese users of Oppo R15, A9, A9x, R15 Pro, Oppo A3, and A91. And now the availability of this update schedule confirms the exact date of arrival of the updates on these devices.

The stable Android 10 update for Oppo R15, A9, A9x and A3 will be released on July 10, while it will knock the doors of Oppo A91 and R15 Pro (aka R15 Dream Mirror Edition in China) on July 24 and 25, respectively. Here is what the official update plan depicts:

Oppo R15 – July 10
A9, A9x – July 10
A3 – July 10
A91 – July 24

Keep in mind that this July 2020 Android 10 (ColorOS 7) stable update release plan is exclusively for Chinese users and we expect a similar update plan for global variants soon.

So, going by the update plan, the first devices that will get the taste of stable Android 10 (ColorOS 7) update will be Oppo R15, A9, A9x, and Oppo A3 while the rest will follow as planned. We will keep you posted once the update is pushed by the OEM.

Oppo has officially released the stable Android 10 update alongside ColorOS 7 for the Oppo A91 and the Oppo F15 in many regions. Moreover, Oppo A91 users in China have also bagged the update. See the full story here.

The stable ColorOS 7 update based on Android 10 is being released for the Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition in China. It comes as version F.16 and is rolling out via an OTA update. The Global variant of the device is also expected to receive the new software tomorrow. See the full story here.
