Oppo has officially released the stable ColorOS 7 update for the Oppo A91 and the Oppo F15. Both these smartphones released within a month of each other. Further, they are also similarly specced.

The duo released with Android 9 Pie along with ColorOS 6.1 out-of-the-box. This made the two eligible for the ColorOS 7 update that is based on Android 10. Previously, we reported that both phones were part of the ColorOS 7 beta program.

And now it seems that Oppo A91 and F15 users no longer have to wait for the stable Android 10 (ColorOS 7) update. This is because the company has now begun rolling out the new software version to users in many regions.

Also worth noting is that both devices are sold inside and outside of China. And Oppo does not merge the global units software updates with the units sold in China.

The company made the announcement for the new update via the global ColorOS community. Further, it has begun rolling out to users in India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri-Lanka, Nepal, Thailand, Malay, Vietnam, Russia, and Kazakhstan.

This rollout is in line with the company’s release plan for ColorOS 7 in July. The Oppo A91 and the F15 were expected to get the Android 10 update today itself. And we’re glad Oppo stuck to its original plan.

The software version for the update is C.11 and should arrive on your device soon if it hasn’t already. Although, your Oppo A91 or Oppo F15 must be on either of the following versions to be detected: A.33 or A.35.

Some users have also begun sharing screenshots of the update arriving on their devices. Further, Oppo’s customer care team also tweeted about the arrival of the new ColorOS 7 + Android 10 update for the Oppo F15.

Further, after making a separate announcement for Oppo A91 users in China, the company has officially started rolling out the ColorOS 7 update based on Android 10 for the device in the region. The official version number for the update is C.10 and it is being released via an OTA package.

Users in China also have to make sure that the current version on their phone is either A.19 or A.20 to be able to detect the new version.

With this release, Oppo is now one step closer to completing the rollout for all eligible smartphones. You can take a look at our Oppo Android 10 (ColorOS 7) update tracker to know when it arrives on your device.
