[Updated] Honor 20, View20 & 10 Lite Magic UI 3.0 (Android 10) update rollout resumed, still no VoWiFi (WiFi calling)
New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on February 10, 2020) follows:
Honor (sub-brand of Huawei) has recently resumed the rollout of the Magic UI 3.0 (Android 10) update for three of its phones i.e. Honor 20, Honor View20 and Honor 10 Lite.
However, one of the most important features that users were awaiting, VoWiFi or WiFi calling is still not available in the updates for any of the devices.
Taking about the updates, the Honor 20 gets Magic UI 3.0 (Android 10) with version number V10.0.0.181 and it weighs in around a hefty 4.92 GB in size.
Notably, the Android 10 update for Honor 20 was put on hold and was expected to roll out in February. But going by this rollout, Honor has kept their word for it and timely pushed the Android 10 update.
But the update does not enable the VoWiFi feature for Honor 20.
Even after the recent update with no 10.0.0.181 this … brand not provided VoWiFi feature
The Magic UI 3.0 update for Honor View 20 has also been resumed and the device is currently receiving the update with version number V10.0.0.188 and weighs in around 4.74 GB in size.
Notably, the update was put on hold and was expected to come out in the second week of February. But, the update which is being pushed for Honor View20 does not include the VoWiFi feature.
Honor 10 Lite‘s Magic UI 3.0 (Android 10) update has been reportedly resumed but it also does not seem to include the WiFi calling feature for the device.
The latest update is arriving with version number V10.0.0.171 and is arriving via OTA. Keep in mind that we have reported earlier, that the Android 10 update for Honor 10 Lite was halted without citing any reasons and was expected to roll out in the first week of February.
Notably, all we can do is wait for an official confirmation on when the VoWiFi or WiFi calling features will be enabled for the Honor 20, View 20 and Honor 10 Lite smartphones.
We will keep you in the loop once we have concrete information in this regard. In the meantime, do check out our dedicated Honor section to read similar stories surrounding Honor smartphones.
