New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on October 30, 2019) follows:

Realme has grown at quite a faster rate this year than all of its previous years. The company has added a few head-turner devices to its portfolio recently.

We are talking about the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro, then the latest beast of a smartphone i.e. Realme X2 Pro. The Chinese OEM is leaving no stones unturned and wants to provide the best to its users.

All these improvements and milestones were reflected in numbers for the company. According to another report by Counterpoint Research, Realme showed an 800% growth in Q3 2019!

The company reached its record 7th position in the list of top 10 global smartphone market by shipping approximately 10 million smartphones.

Such an amazing feat is bound to make the company grow at even a faster rate. Moreover, the smartphone maker is also known for providing great after-sale service like pushing OTA updates timely and so on.

And in a recent development, Realme has pushed the October 2019 security update for its Realme X device. Not only this, but the recently launched Realme X2 Pro is also getting a bug fix OTA update in China.

We have previously reported that the Realme X2 Pro got its first software update A.10 in China, that tagged along the October security update, some bug fixes and improvements.

For those who are waiting for this beast to arrive in India might have to wait for a while as it will be launched in December 2019.

Update 1 (October 30)

We are extremely sorry for providing the download link of the previous build (A.08) earlier. Apparently our tracker picked up wrong info from Realme server which was already fixed at their end. Once we capture the A.09 OTA, we will update the story.

Update 2 (October 31)

Realme team has postponed the A.09 update for Realme X for technical reasons.

UPDATE: The developers have found a critical bug before the update reached more devices. As a consequence the update has been put off temporarily. We will update this thread and provide the manual link to download the A.09 firmware as soon as the bug has been fixed and the rollout has started again.

Guess that’s why our tacker got confused! ?
