Xiaomi has been releasing updates left, right, and center the past few weeks. These updates have been hitting their budget, mid-range and flagship smartphones. Moreover, the company does not seem to be slowing down. As we reported earlier, the Redmi Note 8 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 are also scheduled to receiving MIUI 12 in July or August.

And at present, Redmi K20 units in India are now receiving the MIUI 12 beta stable update based on Android 10. Xiaomi confirmed the news via an official announcement. By the way, the Chinese and Global variants of the K20 aka Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro aka Redmi K20 Pro received the MIUI 12 update a while back.

As expected, this new version brings all the new MIUI 12 features to the device. The firmware version for the update is V12.0.2.0.QFJINXM. It is being pushed via an OTA update so keep an eye out for the update notification. Moreover, the changelog for the update is massive as you can see below.

A few days ago, the company confirmed the update is now available to all Mi 9, Mi 9T, 9T Pro, Redmi K20, K20 Pro devices across the globe. We’re glad to see the update indeed rolling out widely.

This is the stable version of the Indian ROM that is now available to the public and is rolling out over the air (OTA).

Nonetheless, OTA updates often take longer to arrive since they are pushed out in batches. So those who aren’t willing to wait for the Redmi K20 MIUI 12 stable update can download and install it manually via the Updater app.
