While the latest beta update is currently available only for internal testers, the same is expected to hit the public/weekly beta channel in China very soon.

Also, these changes will first be made available on the stable channel in China and then later the global stable version might get the same.

However, it is unclear how long this will take to transpire or whether the OEM will indeed roll out these changes as no official announcements have been made on the matter.

Xiaomi has been working tirelessly to improve the user experience on its latest custom skin and such updates only show the OEM’s dedication to stay on top of its game.

It has been over six months since the latest custom skin was announced, but there are still a few Xiaomi devices that are yet to bag the MIUI 12 update.

Nevertheless, it is good to see that the OEM is still striving to deliver the much awaited custom skin update to the remaining devices and improving existing ones.
