The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is the company’s flagship smartphone for 2020. It arrived in February and packs in some of the best specifications that you can find on any Android phone. On the software front, it comes with Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top.

Being the top-end phone from the company, it was but obvious that the Mi 10 Pro will get the MIUI 12 update. Fortunately, the wait was not that long since the stable MIUI 12 update based on Android 10 began rolling out for the device last month.

Not only did the Pro variant get the update, but the standard Mi 10 also received it. Unfortunately, it was only released to Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro units in China. A few days ago, the update was also released for the global Mi 10.

Thus, we expected the global Mi 10 Pro to grab the MIUI 12 update within the next few days. Turns out, the waiting period wasn’t too long. Xiaomi has now released it’s new skin over Android 10 for the Mi 10 Pro global variant.

It comes as version V12.0.1.0.QJAMIXM and is rolling out to devices via OTA. Needless to say, MIUI 12 is packed to the brim with new features and improvements over the previous MIUI 11. This can be confirmed by its lengthy changelog.
