World War 3 download issues on Steam get official acknowledgment

World War 3 is solely a multiplayer game that stands true to the saying ‘everything is fair in love and war’ as players can use every tool at their disposal to win the fight.

Yet, players have also reported a number of glitches with the video game such as error ‘[151] Something went wrong’, poor audio quality, invites not working, and website not working to name a few.

Now, many World War 3 players recently started encountering issues on Steam where the game takes way too long to finish the downloading process (1,2,3,4,5,6)

As a result, players have been unable to play World War 3. Some claim to have waited for more than 10 hours, yet the game’s downloading progress is still far from completion.

Gamers argue that this is not due to slow internet connection because they have tried downloading other games and the speed generally on their side is pretty good.

Download is slow as hell. Why are you using a p2p launcher instead of Steam’s server? We tried downloading it for hours and gave up. Bad start for this Game.

Are you kidding me? 3w days to download with a 3rd party connection? I have pretty fast internet, this will be downloaded in minutes, I will not be there downloading in batches! Be serious and put this on Steam as any other game!

Others have reported that when they try to add the game to their Steam library, an error appears, and the download does not begin. This occurs even after several attempts.

Can’t download or add it to my steam library Hey guys, is the game available to download now? When I click on download nothing happens and when I try adding on my library some error shows up. Any idea?

Fortunately, World War 3 support has acknowledged these download issues and said that they are working on a fix. However, they did not share an ETA for it.

Admittedly, we haven’t come across any workarounds that may help you temporarily resolve the World War 3 download issues on Steam. You’ll have to wait until developers come up with a permanent solution.
