New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on November 29, 2021) follows:

World War 3 is one of the most interesting tactical FPS out there. However, players have been facing some issues with various aspects of the game.

According to multiple reports, World War 3 is currently suffering from problems with the party or invite system and with the game’s audio quality.

World War 3 party or invite system not working, potential workaround

One of the issues reported by World War 3 players is related to the party or invite system. It seems that many are unable to invite friends to join a party (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9).

Currently still having big issues inviting friends. I don’t understand how this hasn’t been brought up or mentioned by others.

Every time I invite a friend, no matter what, I get “RPCERROR CANNOT CREATE SQUAD, SENDER IS ALREADY LEADER OF ANOTHER SQUAD”. Is there a fix for this?

When players try to invite another to a party, all they get is an error message saying that it is not possible to do so because the other person is the party leader.

Plus we were unable to party up as every time you invite it comes up with error as the other person is party leader.
Also I was messing about with a controller and when you adjust the sensitivity up it immediately reverts back to minimum.

But, there is a workaround for this issue. According to reports, players who want to join to a party must restart the game.

Reportedly poor audio quality issue on World War 3

Another issue reported by World War 3 players is related to audio quality. The in-game sound quality is poor and ‘flat’, and the sound of the shots does not have the impact that should have (1, 2, 3).

Havent had poor netcode issues, although the performance could be a bit better? imo, I’m not sure what fps others are getting. Im on a GTX970 and 60 fps on low seems a bit lacking. Playable though, so not the biggest deal.

The only two issues I have are the Audio being kind of flat and lacking soundstage, footsteps seem decent, Ive saved myself from flankers twice already by hearing them. But gunshots sometimes seem muted, and incoming fire is almost non existant. That feeling of suppression that gets the hairs on your neck to stand up is missing.

At the moment, there is no official pronouncement from the World War 3 developers on these issues. Therefore, it is not known if they are already aware of the reports.

If there is any related development in this regard in the coming days, we will update this article. So, stay tuned with us.

Update 01 (November 30)

The developers of this title have since updated their known issues page to reflect this audio bug. Still, not much is known about the status of a fix so stay tuned for more.

Update 02 (February 19)

We’re listening (wink wink) to your feedback – Here’s a quick sample (old vs. new sound) from NEXT WEEK’s audio update. Yeah, a major audio patch is coming! Including improved sounds and spatial awareness! We have more samples to share, which gun should we test next? (Source)

Update 03 (May 24)

05:24 pm (IST): Many World War 3 players are now reporting (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) an issue where they are unable to invite a friend to a group and getting an error message that says ‘[101] Party service is temporarily unavailable’.

Fortunately, the support team didn’t take too long to acknowledge this issue and they said that the team is currently working on a fix.
