Clash of Clans is a massively popular strategy game that has captivated millions of players across the globe.

Thanks to the immersive gameplay, strategic depth, and vibrant community, it offers an addictive and engaging experience for gamers of all ages. However, like any other game, Clash of Clans also has its fair share of bugs and issues.

For instance, we recently covered the issues where the Builder Base matchmaking bug was causing players to win or lose large amounts of trophies, and Builder Base 2.0 was riddled with performance issues.

Now, a new one has surfaced.

Clash of Clans players not receiving Gold Pass

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), some Clash of Clans players are not receiving the Gold Pass after making the purchase. In addition to this, they are also unable to access the live chat option.

Some even claim that the pass that they purchased a few days ago has not been activated until now. And to make matters worse, one cannot get it even after canceling and re-initiating the transaction time and again.

It appears that gamers are experiencing these problems because of a server-side issue. Notably, the bug has been persistent for the past few days and affects gamers across multiple platforms.

One of those affected says that they have not received the pass even after having purchased and refunded it more than five times.

They have even uploaded the proof of payment and sent it to customer support, but have not received any response from them until now.

Another complains that even though money has been deducted from their account, the transaction status is displayed as pending. 

Is anyone else’s gold pass still not working. For example I have purchased it and it has charged me and took money out of my account but I have not got the pass all it says is transaction is pending or it tells me to buy it again.

Those impacted are now requesting the developers to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Official acknowledgment and potential workaround

Fortunately, Supercell has officially acknowledged this issue and is currently investigating it. However, no official ETA for the bug fix has been provided.

They have also asked the affected ones to contact Player Support in order to get the Gold Pass manually added to their Supercell ID inventory.
