Original story (published on April 14, 2021) follows:

Samsung has been sending out new software updates just about every other day if not daily for the past few months.

Most recently, Samsung rolled out the One UI 3.1 update based on Android 11 for the Verizon variants of the Galaxy A51 in the U.S.

Now it appears that Samsung Galaxy M30s users in India have started getting the One UI Core 3.1 update too.

This new software update carries the firmware version number M307FXXU4CUD1 and weighs 744.44 MB. The March security patch also comes bundled with the package.

Do note that the Galaxy M30s got the update to Android 11 with Samsung’s One UI 3.0 skin back in February.

Since the device is part of the M series, it has got the One UI Core 3.1 update which sheds off most features and functions that come with the new skin. So you won’t notice much of a difference after installing it.

Now that Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 3.1 update to Galaxy M30s users in India, it’s likely that we’ll see it go live for the device sold in other countries over the new few days or weeks.

That said, the South Korean firm has not yet updated the device’s (SM-M307F) official software update page with details of the One UI 3.1 release.

Nevertheless, stay tuned to our dedicated tracker to know more about the availability and status of One UI 3.1 for all eligible smartphones from Samsung.
