Original story (published on February 08, 2021) follows:

Samsung started pushing the One UI 3.0 update based on Android 11 to its devices back in December — a tad later than most other OEMs — however, has somehow managed to release the new Android version to more devices.

The first phones to get the update were the Galaxy S20 variants which include the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra.

Over these past few weeks, Samsung has released the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update to other devices such as the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G, Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy S20 FE, and most recently, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite.

The South Korean giant is also testing Android 11 on a bunch of devices, many of them from the Galaxy A series, which are yet to get the stable update.

Earlier, we had reported that the company was testing One UI 3.0 for the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G via the public beta program in Korea. However, a mod confirmed that the beta won’t be available on other A series devices.

And on February 04, the company began seeding Android 11 for the Galaxy A51 which made it the first A-series phone to get it.

Now, it appears that Samsung has started rolling out Android 11 with its One UI 3.0 skin for the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G and the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G. These aren’t to be confused with the standard Galaxy A71 and A51.

Samsung has updated its official software updates page for the Galaxy A71 5G and the Galaxy A51 5G to reflect the release.

More specifically, the Galaxy A71 5G SM-A716U model on Sprint and Galaxy A51 5G SM-A516V model which is from Verizon have bagged the software update.

It carries the build number CUA7 for the A71 5G and CUA3 for the Galaxy A51 5G. The update also brings the January patch to both smartphones.

Like most other updates, this too will be rolling out in batches. Therefore, it may take a while before you see the update arrive on your unit.

Now that the One UI 3.0 update has been released for these specific models, it shouldn’t be long before it begins rolling out for other models of the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G and A51 5G.
