We have previously reported that the Honor 20i grabbed the EMUI 10 beta update in India back in November. A little over a week before India, the Chinese users were served with the EMUI 10 update.

And now, in a recent development, Huawei has finally pushed in the stable EMUI 10 (Android 10) update for the Honor 20i smartphone. The update also brings in the December 2019 security patch.

To recall, the Honor 20i was introduced back in April 2019 and packs in features like Kirin 710, 4/6 GB of RAM, a 3,400 mAh battery under the hood, a 6.21-inch display.

The device offers up to 256 GB of onboard storage, a triple camera 24 MP+8 MP+ 2MP setup at the back and a 32 MP selfie shooter. It also sports a fingerprint scanner at the back.

Now, coming back to the update, it arrives with the version number V10.0.0.158 and weighs in around 650 MB. Below is the official changelog along with the screenshot of the update prompt:

Notably, the update is being pushed to select users via OTA in batches and is expected to be available for all the users pretty soon.

However, users can manually check for the update notification on their Honor 20i by going to Settings>>System & updates>>Software update>>CHECK FOR UPDATES>>Download and install.

According to a recent report, EMUI 10 (Android 10) update is also now live for the Honor 20i AAPE Edition. It arrives with the version number V10.0.0.153 and users can update their devices over the air.
