Traditional wallets are getting lighter with technological advancements. Google Wallet is one such example, and it is available on multiple platforms such as Android, Wear OS, and Fitbit OS.
Google Wallet users can store a variety of information on it, including their driver’s license, tickets, loyalty or gift cards, and even their digital car keys.
But the service has been far from perfect, as users have encountered issues such as being unable to add MasterCard on Wear OS or when the saved cards and tickets went missing.
Google Wallet ‘Your request failed’ error
Now, several Google Wallet users are facing issues while using the service as they keep getting the ‘Your request failed’ error (1,2,3,4,5).
Whenever users try to add a card to the payment methods they keep getting a ‘Your request failed. Ensure your payment method info is correct or add a new payment method to your Google Account. Learn more [OR-CCSEH-05]’ error.
In other cases, the error code seems to be different, either ‘OR TAPSH 08 or ‘OR-CCSEH-21’.
This glitch has been a major stumbling block for Google Wallet users, who have been unable to make payments as a result.

Fix in works
Fortunately, a Gold Product Expert has confirmed that the Google team is aware of the ‘Your request failed’ issue and is currently working on a fix. However, there is no ETA for it.
You may also need to contact Google Pay consumer support to clear the restriction as your account might have been flagged by Google’s risk engine.
