Successor to the Fitbit Sense, the Fitbit Sense 2 comes with new and useful features for fitness enthusiasts.

For instance, it comes with an electrical sensor that can measure skin conductance for body response tracking and automatic exercise tracking.

However, like any other fitness smartwatch, Fitbit Sense 2 is also not immune from bugs and issues.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), multiple Fitbit users have been facing difficulties in using the device as inaccurate readings are being provided by the heart rate sensor.

It has been claimed that the reported heart rate is lower than the actual and that the device’s screen becomes unresponsive time and again.

Users even allege that the UI and heart rate sensors were much better on their old Versa 2 devices. The issue has been persistent for the past few months and remains unresolved despite some firmware updates.

One of those affected complains that their Fitbi Sense 2 device takes about 15 minutes to pick up their heart rate readings.

Another user says that after one month of use, the heart rate sensor on their smart wearable has stopped working properly.

I have a brand new Sense 2 which after setting up, the heart rate graph shows ‘no measurement’. It is showing the current heart rate and all other statistics are fine.

The sense 2 has numerous bugs. From time showing during exercises to totally pointless heart rate. This watch needs a complete overhaul!

Those affected have even tried rebooting their smart wearable and tinkering with its settings multiple times but to no avail.

And understandably they have even questioned the point of purchasing a fitnesss tracker if it cannot measure heart rate properly.

It is also worth mentioning that this is not the first time that users (1,2) have faced such an issue with their Fitbit smart wearables.

We are hopeful that the developers will resolve the glitch as soon as possible.

Having said that, we’ll keep tabs on the issue where inaccurate readings are given by the heart rate sensor in Fitbit Sense 2 and update this article whenever we come across any new info.
