[Updated] Dying Light 2 The Only Way Out quest broken (unable to interact with Hubert) & Liquidator not spawning issues trouble players

Dying Light 2 campaign mode continues to be affected by bugs and issues that players have been facing. As an example of the above, you can check our coverage of glitches in the game (1, 2, 3, 4).

Now some Dying Light 2 players are stuck on The Only Way Out quest as they can’t interact with Hubert. Also, they can’t get the Cyber Hands 2177 due to the Liquidator not appearing.

In the Dying Light 2 The Only Way Out Quest, players must talk to the character Hubert. However, a glitch causes some to be unable to talk to Hubert due to a persistent ‘please wait’ message (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8).

BUG: When talking to the guy waiting for Hubert at the windmill … says please wait and I am unable to advance the questline.

I can’t advance the quest. I get the message “please wait”. Had this bug in my last playthrough and restarted the game from the very beginning. The dev menu which was previously used to deal with these issues no longer works. What am I supposed to do here? Start a third play through?

The glitch causes players to get stuck in the quest and not be able to progress any further in the campaign. However, there is a potential workaround that could help resolve it.

The workaround basically consists of saving the game, exiting the game completely and loading your save file:

The other issue affects obtaining the Cyber Hands 2177 weapon. For that, the player must reach a certain location and interact with the Liquidator (another character in the game).

However, it appears that Liquidator is not where it should be when some player gets there. That means they are unable to get the Cyber Hands 2177 (1, 2, 3).

Liquidator not spawning

I saw a video showing off the insane cyber hands and I went to the right building and nobody was there. Does anyone know how to get him to spawn? Idk if it’s a glitch or something

The fact u physically can’t get the cyber hands after doing the Veronika mission is seriously shitty @DyingLightGame pls just put the box with the blueprint there after people complete that mission.

or like idk add another way to get them without meeting the liquidator xoxo.

At the moment there is no workaround to help resolve this second glitch. We will update this article once new updates are available on both issues.

06:50 pm (IST): Dying Light 2 (PC) recently received patch update 1.2 which resolves the issue where players are unable to talk or interact with Hubert.

So, PC players should already be able to progress through the mission correctly. The console patch will be coming soon.

05:56 pm (IST): Dying Light 2 had recently received a new patch on PC with numerous bug fixes. And now, it is also available for PlayStation and Xbox players. The update brings a fix for ‘The Only Way Out’ quest.
