Circle to Search, one of Google’s most compelling features in recent years, has started its rollout for the Pixel Tablet. The arrival of Circle to Search on the Pixel Tablet was first spotted by Mishaal Rahman of Android Authority, who noticed the feature while using Android 15 Beta 1.2. A pop-up alert greeted Rahman, informing them that Circle to Search could now be activated by holding the bottom bar.
Circle to Search’s intuitive design and seamless integration have garnered widespread acclaim since its debut on Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series earlier this year. Google swiftly brought the feature to its Pixel 8 lineup through a Pixel Feature Drop. Not much later, the feature went live for the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, before expanding to other Pixel phones.
While the rollout appears limited at the moment, Google had previously announced plans to bring Circle to Search to the Pixel Tablet and Pixel Fold “soon.” True to its word, the feature has now begun its journey onto the Pixel Tablet, delighting early adopters with its convenience and versatility.
However, it’s worth noting that Circle to Search currently doesn’t function in split-screen mode on the tab, as Google has yet to release the necessary Pixel Launcher update. This limitation is expected to be addressed in a future update, ensuring a seamless experience across all usage scenarios.
