In a new blogpost showing off smart ways to travel with tools from Google, the company casually revealed that Circle to Search is “rolling out” to the Pixel 6, 6 Pro, and even the 7a too. Apart from that Google also mentioned that the feature will go live for the Pixel Fold and Tablet “soon.” The information was shared in the footer of the blogpost which further clarified that Circle to Search is coming to more Android devices as well.

While I’ve not received the feature on my Pixel 7a yet, I did find at least one post from a redditor who claims to have received it on their Pixel 7a. I’m yet to see reports from Pixel 6 series (6a too) users who’ve received it. So it’s most likely that the feature is rolling out in a staggered manner, as expected.

For those unaware about how it works, you can check out our in-depth guide on how to use Circle to Search on your Pixel phone. I believe Google should’ve made it clear from the start that it had plans to bring Circle to Search to older models like the Pixle 6 series and the 7a. This would have avoided making some Pixel users feeling cheated.

What’s still disappointing is that Pixel Fold users are once again left out. Imagine dropping big bucks only for the company to prioritize the “cheaper” models. Nevertheless, it’s likely that we’ll see the feature go live on the Fold and the Tablet in the coming weeks. Let us know if you received Circle to Search on your Pixel 7a, 6, 6 Pro, or 6a in the comments below.
