Google has just rolled out an update for Google Pixel devices on Android 14 QPR2 Beta that brought version 1.1 with bug fixes and performance improvements. This is the second of what is expected to arrive in stable as the March Feature Drop next year.

Looking at how quick the 1.1 update came after the initial QPR2 beta rolled out, Google was likely patching up a critical bug. There had been mentions of Eufy Security app users experiencing an issue where the update uninstalled the app, and subsequently prevented them from reinstalling it. This has supposedly been fixed.

All these details can be found in the official changelog that Google shared on Reddit through r/android_beta as well as the official Android developers page. The changelog on both platforms usually includes a link to the top open issues that Google is aware of and working to address probably in the next release. But while checking out the recent changelogs on Reddit, I noticed something was a bit off with the “top open issues” link.

Instead of redirecting Pixel users to the public issue tracker to file or contribute to existing issues, the link on the most recent Android 14 QPR2 Beta 1 and 1.1 opens a developer site that requires a Google SSO to access it. Below is a screenshot of what I see when I click on the “top open issues” link on Reddit.

It’s possible this is just an error from the person publishing the changelog in r/android_beta. But it’s strange that it’s happened twice in a row yet no one hasn’t noticed it. Luckily, I got your back. If you want to check them out, here are the top open issues and the recently created issues in Android 14 QPR2 Beta. Unlike Reddit, Google added the correct link in the changelog on its developer page.
