Japan is one of Google’s best performing Pixel market. And if you’re a fan of Google products in Japan, there’s a change you’ll want to know about. Starting April 22, all products, including Pixel phones, will now be delivered by Yamato Transport Co., Ltd. This is a welcome upgrade from the previous system, where Japan Post was the only option. However, it’s unclear whether shipping and delivery of Pixel products in Japan will remain exclusive to Yamato Transport or if Japan Post will keep its place.

This switch brings exciting benefits for customers. Kuroneko Members (Yamato’s rewards program) can now easily track their orders. They’ll receive delivery date notifications and have the flexibility to reschedule deliveries if needed. Previously, with Japan Post, you couldn’t choose a delivery time, making it difficult to plan around receiving your package.

While Google hasn’t revealed the specific reason for the change, Yamato Transport is known for its reliability and excellent customer service. This move likely aims to ensure a smoother and more convenient shipping and delivery experience for Google Pixel fans in Japan. So, the next time you snag a Pixel or another Google goodie in Japan, expect it to arrive safely and on your schedule with Yamato Transport.
