Fortnite is a fun and addictive game that has much to offer gamers with varying skill levels. That said, like any other well-liked game, Fortnite has its fair share of bugs and issues as well.
For instance, we recently covered the issues where the Party Royale ‘Network Connection Lost’ error is still affecting gamers and the ‘Exotic Slap Splash’ effect was reportedly underwhelming.
Now, it appears that a new issue is affecting players across different platforms.
Fortnite ‘blue screen while trying to login’ issue
According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9), multiple Fortnite players are facing an issue where they keep getting a blue screen while trying to login.
Some claim that despite having a stable internet connection, the loading page fails to appear, leaving them bewildered about what to do.
While others argue that the game screen turns blue after filling in the credentials and clicking on the login button.
Gamers have also noted instances where choosing a game mode won’t load any creative games, categories, or epic thumbnails and will just display the blue screen.
Additionally, players say that the glitch persists for a day or two and gets resolved on its own, only to reappear later, creating a recurrent cycle.
The glitch appears to have emerged after a recent update and remains unresolved until now. And this is, without a doubt, quite frustrating and annoying for all the game fans.
My little brother recently got an Xbox Series S but sometimes when entering Fortnite it launches with a blue screen and doesn’t load in, it does that for a day or two and after that it works again for a day and then the cycle begins.

My screen is blue and it’s not showing the loading screen what do I do? It was playing normally yesterday I made sure my connection is on.

Some have even tried verifying the game files and uninstalling and reinstalling the game for a potential fix, but without any success.
Official acknowledgment
Luckily, the ‘blue login screen’ issue has been officially acknowledged by the Fortnite support team, and they are currently investigating it.
Potential workaround
Those impacted can try restarting the game and then logging in again. Xbox owners can do so by opening the guide, quitting the app through the system’s menu, and then relaunching Fortnite.
Those who are on PS 5 can try forcefully closing the game and restarting it.
Having said that, we will keep tabs on the issue where Fortnite players keep getting a blue screen while trying to login and update this article with the latest developments.
