Battlefield 2042 is a first-person shooter game developed by DICE and has garnered a massive following since its release.
However, like any complex game, it is not without its share of bugs and issues. For instance, we previously highlighted how some Battlefield 2042 players grappled with ‘high CPU usage’ and ‘AM40 attachments not unlocking’ issues.
And now, one notable problem that has plagued players is the high sensitivity issue while Aiming Down Sights (ADS).
Battlefield 2042 high sensitivity issue while Aiming Down Sights
After the v5.1.0 update, many players noticed a significant increase in sensitivity while aiming down sights, making it challenging to accurately aim at targets (1,2,3,4).
After today’s update, my ads sensitivity went up for some reason. I usually play on 50 sensitivity, and 30 ADS sensitivity, wich helps me track enemies better. Now the ADS sensitivity feels more like 70, and it won’t adjust when I put it back to 30 or anything else.

A message to Dice
Please fix aim sensitivity! It’s way to sensitive now, and nothing is fixing it.

The problem occurs across various platforms, including PlayStation and Xbox. Players have reported that their aim becomes erratic and difficult to control, causing frustration and hindering their overall gameplay experience.
The high sensitivity issue hampers players’ ability to aim precisely, resulting in missed shots and decreased effectiveness in combat situations.
The Battlefield community has been vocal about the high sensitivity issue after the v5.1.0 update. Players have taken to social media platforms and forums to share their experiences.
Issue acknowledged
Acknowledging the problem, the developers have been actively monitoring the community’s feedback and working towards a resolution.
The team has assured players that they are investigating the issue where Battlefield 2042 players are facing high sensitivity while aiming.
It’s worth noting that some of those affected have been turning Uniform Soldier Aiming off as a temporary fix. So, you can also try doing that till the team comes up with a permanent resolution.
Try turning Uniform Soldier Aiming off, seems to have worked for most of us. There’s something going on with aim assist too btw

That said, we’ll update the article as and when something noteworthy comes up.
