EA Sports created the Madden series of video games featuring American football. A new edition of the game is published each year with new features, improved gameplay, and updated lineups.
It seems that Madden 23 provides a more realistic and an engaging experience for gamers around the world. However, we have also witnessed a number of bugs and issues (1,2,3) with the game every now and then.
Madden 23 points missing or not received
A number of Madden 23 players (1,2,3,4,5) have now taken to Twitter to report that their in-game points are missing or they are not receiving them after purchase.
@EASPORTS_MUT I just brought points and didn’t receive them and it’s saying I need full version of the game I got the full version

Reports indicate the infuriated state of players as they bought the points with real currency. Even after waiting for hours, these points are just not showing up in their accounts.
Some of the players have tried reinstalling the game and doing a hard reset but to no avail.
It seems that the issue has just started troubling users. Therefore, it’s possible that the bug hasn’t caught the developers’ attention as yet.
However, an acknowledgment is still very much anticipated, and a fix even sooner. Unfortunately, there is no workaround at the moment that can help resolve this bug temporarily.
We’ll keep tabs on the latest developments and update this article as and when something noteworthy comes up.
Update 1 (August 15, 2023)
12:37 pm (IST): Madden 24 players are also reporting an issue where they are not receiving after purchasing the game. Fortunately, EA is working on a fix:
