Discord is a popular communication platform that allows users to connect with friends, family, and other like-minded individuals.
One of the features of the app is the ability to use a soundboard, which allows users to play audio clips during conversations.
It has been dividing opinions in the community as some (1,2,3) like it while others want an option to disable it.
Discord app crashing
Now, users are reporting an issue where the Discord app is crashing when playing sound on the soundboard (1,2,3,4,5,6).
This issue seems to have affected a significant number of Discord users, with many taking to various platforms to report the problem.

According to the reports, when a user plays a sound on the soundboard, another user gets disconnected from the voice chat and their discord crashes.
Some are able to automatically reconnect after a short while, but for the unfortunate few, their app keeps crashing. This issue only happens in the Discord app (iOS and Android) and has been a frustrating one.
No matter who plays it, or what sound, the same person is getting abruptly kicked from the channel every time. It worked fine 2-3 days ago, so this is a sudden issue. They have nitro, and it is only happening to them. Is anyone encountering this?

Another scenario in which the Discord app crashes is when a user clicks on the boost status of a server (1,2,3,4,5).
The boost status feature in Discord allows users to support their favorite servers by purchasing Nitro Boost, which provides a range of benefits, such as increased server perks and better audio quality.
However, the most recent problem generates dissatisfaction and aggravation for numerous individuals.
Here same bug. Using the new UI in mobile. Though it was a thing happening only to the new layout.
