Google Pixel 7 Pro has been out for a while now and has received rave reviews from its users. With features like an AI-powered native camera app and virtual stenographer make it a standout choice in the android market.

However, it’s far from perfect as users have been facing issues like Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro-trade-in taking too long or USPS stuck in transit and the volume button reportedly coming off to name a few.

Google Pixel 7 Pro GPS accuracy

Lately, many Google Pixel 7 Pro users have been reporting an issue where they are questioning their devices ‘GPS accuracy’ (1,2,3,4,5,6).

The affected users say that they have been continuously having issues with GPS on the pixel 7 Pro. They use Google maps while driving and are constantly losing their signal.

The distance is also not calculated properly, as users report that after turning, the phone takes a while to update their location and continues to move in a straight path.

Not only that, but the GPS continues bouncing a user’s location off Google Maps and regularly drifts off course. This has been extremely inconvenient for users because they are unable to navigate properly.

Got my Pixel 7 a few days ago and went on a roadtrip. Google Maps gets lost very easily, it hangs, and it starts showing the car going in the wrong direction… The only way it works well is after some miles of driving on a highway. My Pixel 6 had GPS issues. I switched to Pixel 7 in hopes the issue would be solved. I was so wrong.

Hello, I use my phone while driving and all day the GPS has been inaccurate. It stalls as if I’m not moving and jumps to the current location after a long delay. This has already caused me to miss a location I was trying to get to. Please advise.

Some tried troubleshooting methods like restarting the phone, toggling airplane mode, clear the cache and data from Google maps but nothing seems to work.

Another concern is that the device overheats while using GPS, and the battery drains at an exponential rate when using navigation.
