Rainbow Six Extraction is the latest installment in the Rainbow Six series. The online multiplayer tactical FPS is developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft.
Unlike Rainbow Six Siege, Extraction is a PvE game where players have to cooperate with each other and defeat an alien species known as the Archeans. It was launched in January this year.
But since its release, players have reported various bugs and glitches such as the endless coughing glitch and getting stuck in Airlock between sub-zones.
And now, Rainbow Six Extraction players are saying (1,2,3) that the in-game shop is not working. Some say they are unable to buy anything and are getting a transaction failed error.
Players say they have already tried restarting the game and verifying files but that does not help either. Below are some reports from Rainbow Six Extraction players complaining about the shop not working.

Hello, Bought the Game yesterday since it’s on sale currently and having a blast. So i decided to use my spare paysafecard on the Game to organize me some gear, since the Sand Trap sets look pretty dope (btw. what’s up with the timers on them, do they vanish from the shop after the event?) Long story short, tried to buy the Set with Vigil and got a Error message, tried to buy the weapon paint bundle, hit confirm but nothing happened at all. Anyone else got this problem / a fix?

Hello, Just tried to buy the Sand Trap weapon skin set but nothing happened after i clicked on confirm. Tried to buy the Vigil Sand Trap set and got a Error message. Restarded the Game several times with the same outcome. currently in the process of verifying the game files to see if something is broken, but apparently the Shop is just straight up not working for me. Has anyone else experienced this, is there a fix?

Thankfully, Ubisoft Support has shed some light on the matter and said that they are aware of the issues where the Rainbow Six Extraction in-game shop is not working. However, they did not share any ETA on when it will be fixed so stay tuned.
Thank you for getting in touch. We are aware of issues with making purchases in the In-Game store and this is being looked into at the moment.
