COD: Vanguard is one of the most popular multiplayer FPS out there. However, it is also one of the most reported bugs/glitches among players (1, 2, 3, 4).

In line with the above, in the last few days, COD: Vanguard players have been suffering from multiple annoying problems that affect matches. Some of those even have the potential to break the game.

The issues in question are related to dog kills not tracking, party matchmaking disbandment, high flame audio volume and a High Alert perk overpowered. All these issues are acknowledged by developers.

COD: Vanguard attack or guard dog kills not tracking

The first issue is related to the tracking of kills in challenges. More specifically, Dog kills are reportedly not tracking to achieve goals (as in the Panzerfaust challenge).

But, in the last hours, some reports have emerged suggesting that this issue in question is already solved (1, 2). However, there is still no official confirmation from the developers.

COD: Vanguard party matchmaking issues

Another of the recognized bugs is related to the party matchmaking system. Apparently, on certain occasions, the process can result in a disbandment (expulsion of one or more members of the party).

Party members getting booted after each game

Sorry if this is a common issue, I couldn’t find anything about it posted recently.

After about 90% of our matches one or more of my party gets booted from our lobby. We have to back out of matchmaking after almost every game and reinvite people to the party.

Is this a known issue? Anything we can do to avoid it?

COD: Vanguard flame sounds very loud glitch

In addition to the above, Vanguard players also report a glitch that causes all fire-related sounds to be extremely loud. The noise is so loud that interferes with all other sounds around the player.

All flame audio bugged after update

Any flames on the map (incendiary nades, molotovs, flamenaut) are super loud and overpower all audio. It’s like a flamenaut is firing right in your face. Can’t hear any get audio over it or even my friends talk in a Xbox party. Anyone else experience this?

COD: Vanguard High Alert perk overpowered

The last of the problems recognized by Sledgehammer Games is related to the High Alert perk. Apparently it is overpowered, so much so that it can break matches. So, it requires an urgent fix.

Typically, High Alert perk causes players’ vision to pulse when they enter on enemy’s field of view. This allows players to know the direction of the enemy that is looking at them.

Your vision pulses when enemies outside of your view see you. This is especially helpful when squadmate communications are not accurate. Look at the screen to see a bright light in the direction of an enemy staring right at you. Find some cover whenever it pulses or prepare to fight.

But, the developers found a glitch that allows the perk to be activated even when the player is not in the field of vision of an enemy. Therefore, it can be highly exploited in matches.

At the moment, it only remains to wait for the developers to offer updates related to the glitches. Once new developments appear on the matter, we will update this article.
