[Updated] Warzone invert mouse setting not working on consoles; Vanguard STG multi-kill tracking still broken & free access not working

The games in the Call of Duty (COD) series have not been performing at their best, as their players have been complaining about several important bugs that are still not being fixed.

The most recent reports are related to Warzone and Vanguard. In the case of COD: Warzone, the invert mouse setting is not working in the console version.

Meanwhile, COD: Vanguard maintains the multi-kill tracking issue that presumably had been resolved with an update, plus the free access is not working for some.

Players of the console version of COD: Warzone report that they cannot set invert mouse controls. This is very annoying for many who have always played with this type of setup (1, 2, 3).

No support to invert mouse axis on XBox?!?

It appears there is no way to invert the mouse y-axis on XBox! I’ve literally never played an FPS that doesn’t allow inverting the mouse axis, and this capability was present in the beta! This must be fixed!! Please if there is something I’m missing here, please let me know.

The following reported issues are related to Vanguard. This game had already been suffering from issues related to headshots, longshots and multi-kills tracking during matches.

Recently, the developers rolled out an update to correct the above. But, players still have difficulties related to tracking goals. More specifically, the STG multi-kill counter does not work correctly (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).

Finally fix headshots and kills for me after a month, but I’m stuck at multikills. Now I gotta hear everybody say “oh just do the Cooper carbine, it’s so easy” like I couldn’t use those hours trying to unlock the 500 pistol levels you need.

However, we recently reported that Vanguard players also continue to have problems with longshot tracking. So, it seems that there is still a lot of work to be done.

Finally, Vanguard players also report issues related to the Free Access-Play multiplayer. When they try to access, the game invites the user to buy a paid version (1, 2, 3, 4).

On today’s playlist they have added “Vanguard Free Access-Play multiplayer”. I thought great opportunity to level up some guns. Best t as soon as I click on it I’m sent to a screen with 3 options of what version of Vanguard I want to buy and that’s it. Is it bugged ?

At the moment, it only remains to hope that the reported issues do not take long to be resolved, so that players can have the best possible experience.

11:42 am (IST): Raven Software acknowledges the issue where players are unable to Invert Mouse Look for Keyboard & Mouse on consoles. The issue is currently under investigation, however, no ETA for fix has been provided.
