Apple’s iPhone 13 series has been there for quite some time now and while many users are finding these handsets to be a perfect choice, some of them think totally opposite, the reason being some annoying ongoing issues.

Users of iPhone 13 models have come across several kinds of bugs and issues since launch. Some recent issues include battery drain, auto-brightness issues, blurry selfies, and more.

And now another issue has joined the list. As per reports, some users are complaining that their GPS service on iPhone 13 is not showing an accurate location.

Users say that the iPhone is not able to determine their exact location and they are being located at a nearby place from where they actually are. Moreover, this is happening on both Google Maps and Apple Maps.

Here are some reports for reference:

I have the same problem on iPhone 13pro, gps would show me driving on another street 50 yards away. I have to turn off and on the location services in setting, and the gps will function perfectly again, it’s annoying and dangerous to do while driving. Apple, please fix this issue. (Source)

I upgraded to the iPhone 13 pro from the iPhone XS and I’m not sure if it’s the phone or iOS 15, but the GPS feels like it’s not as accurate as it was when I was using the XS and on iOS 14.Like if I’m sitting at home and check google maps, it won’t show me actually in my home but on the street outside it. Maybe I’m misremembering but I thought before it would actually show the little blip inside my home. Just curious if anyone else noticed anything like this? (Source)

While some say that it’s a software-related bug, many point out that something is broken in the hardware. And as some are able to fix this bug by a simple reboot or turning off 5G, it’s likely that it’s related to iOS.

However, these simple workarounds won’t fix the issue permanently and this is something that needs Apple’s attention to get fixed.

Meanwhile, users have also complained about this bug with different iOS versions, so it’s possible that it’s been there for a long time and users were not aware until they encountered it.

Unfortunately, Apple has not yet acknowledged this issue and we hope that the company issues a fix for this bug soon since users are having trouble finding their exact location.

That said, we will keep you informed on the further development of this issue as and when anything new comes to our notice, so stay tuned.
