Far Cry 6 Season Pass not available or working after purchasing Ultimate Edition acknowledged; Insanity DLC issue surfaces too

Far Cry 6 is the latest title in the much-acclaimed Far Cry series. But ever since its launch, players have reported several issues with the game ranging from broken weapon wheel to several missions bugging out.

But many have overlooked the challenges thanks to the stunning visuals and solid mechanics and gameplay. With that being said, it looks like a bunch of new issues have surfaced.

Far Cry 6 players say they are not seeing the Season Pass even though they bought the Ultimate Edition of the game. In case you are unaware, the Ultimate Edition offers the Ultimate Pack and the Season Pass that features the 3 new DLCs.

Moreover, it also comes with the Classic Edition of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. As one would expect, Ubisoft is giving away 14 in-game items that range from new vehicles to character outfits.

Hi guys, I bought the ultimate edition when it was released. After I installed the game I entered the redeem code and have received 5 dlc to the game. Anyway, vaas insanity just came out and I can’t play it. In manage game and add-ons I only see 5 dlc. There was an 6gb update that I dont know actually what it’s about. Pleeeease, someone tell me wtf is going on, so much money for nothing 🙁 I play on xbox series x

I bought the ultimate edition of this game which comes with the season pass but it’s saying I don’t own the season pass and I have to buy it please fix this I really want to play the new DLC and I’m not spending 40 dollars for something I should already own

Thankfully, Ubisoft Support seems to be aware of the issue and said they are currently looking into it. However, there is no ETA on when it will be fixed.

Apart from the issue where Far Cry 6 players are unable to claim the Season Pass, many are reporting that they cannot play the recently released Insanity DLC.

Many say that the game is asking them to buy the DLC even though it is included in the Ultimate Edition. You can see in the image below how the screen looks like for some when loading the add-on screen.

Same problem. When I access the add on or in game dlc consoles it shows the insanity option as available, but clicking it prompts a purchase option and when I back out of that to the dlc menu, it shows that the insanity pack is “purchased, coming soon”

I got the season pass when the game out, but now I have to buy the DLC again. When I check the Xbox store, it doesn’t say I own either the DLC or the Season Pass.

Fortunately, Ubisoft Support has acknowledged the issue and said that it is under investigation. Again, they did not share any ETA on the fix.

In the meantime, users can try a workaround that seems to be working for some.

See if you installed the dlc. Cus on xbox when for example buy the season pass it doesnt install the dlc when it comes out. You have to go into game mangament and there you will usely find it and just install the dlc that just waiting to be installed.
