[Updated] Ubisoft aware of Far Cry 6 issue with completing Triada Blessings or Boom missions in co-op mode; death loop issue surfaces too
Here’s the crux of the article in video form:
New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on October 18, 2021) follows:
Far Cry 6 is the latest iteration of Ubisoft’s long-running Far Cry franchise released on October 7. This video game is available on various gaming platforms including Xbox, PlayStation, Stadia, and Windows.
Developed by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft, this FPS video game has reached plenty of gamers around the world. However, this game is also bothering many players due to various issues.
Ever since its launch, several gamers are bothered by different issues like black screen issues on Xbox, frame drops and audio issues, Snowshoe and Trapper error, and many others.
Well, that’s not all. There are some more issues bothering Far Cry 6 players. As per reports (1, 2, 3), issues with Triada Blessings, Boom missions in co-op mode and death loop are the new bugs in the game.
@FarCrygame I found a bug in #FarCry6 I did the boom boom mission in a buddy’s game before I did it in mine. Now when I go to the creat to get him, he’s not there and I can’t finish the mission. I’ve tried with him disabled and still doesn’t work. (Source)
I have all 3 relics but won’t let me put them back in the original cave. The interact function to place all 3 relics is not responding. Any help appreciated I’m on X Box Series X (Source)
Triada Blessings is the treasure hunt through which players can get stealth armor, weapons, and amigo combinations in the game. But due to a glitch, gamers couldn’t complete this hunt.
According to a player, even when he had all three Relics, he wasn’t able to put them back in the original cave. Here, the interact function responsible for placing Relics is not responding.
On the other hand, some players are also facing issues in Boom Boom mission in co-op mode where they aren’t able to collect resources from corpses.
Fortunately, Ubisoft is aware of these bugs where gamers are unable to complete Triada Blessings and Boom Boom in co-op mode and is currently investigating them. Affected players can check here for more information.
Death loop issue in Far Cry 6
Another issue that players are facing with Far Cry 6 is where they are stuck in loop of death animation after auto save. Looking at multiple reports (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), this problem seems more widespread than the other two.
However, gamers can get out of this situation by reverting back to previous auto save that can be done with the help of another player. Although it sounds like a fix, it’s not something players can rely on every time.
This issue seems to bother players on PC or PlayStation as we haven’t come across the same with gamers on any other platforms.
Here are some reports for reference:
I’ll try one more time, anybody on PS4/5 willing to join my game to get me out of a death loop? Pleaseeeee? Message me or add me on PSN Skratta_Doof (Source)
Hello Guys, as the Title suggests i am sadly stuck in a Death Loop. I’ve read joining/doing a COOP Session might help. I would be happy if anybody is down to help me 🙂 (Source)
Meanwhile, it is good to see that Ubisoft Support has acknowledged the death loop issue in Far Cry 6. Support team also suggested the same workaround as mentioned above.
Hey Razvan! Sorry to hear you encountered a death loop in Far Cry 6. You may be able to exit this if you invite a friend to your game. If you die again after they join, please allow them to attempt to revive you to see if it breaks the loop that way too. (Source)
These kinds of issues are something that nobody would expect and we hope that Ubisoft fixes them soon. We will keep you updated.
Update 1 (November 05)
03:53 pm (IST): Title Update 2 is here and it fixes the death loop issue as well as the issue with completing Triada Blessings or Boom missions in co-op mode. Here are a couple of snippets from the changelog:
– Fixed an issue where the missions “Triada Blessings” and “Boom or Bust” would not complete correctly when completing them in Co-Op.
– Fixed an issue that could cause a looping death and loading screen situation when an autosave was made while the player was dying.
