New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on September 08, 2021) follows:

Madden 22 was released recently on August 20 and players are unfortunately already running into plenty of issues.

We have highlighted several of them in the past including ‘Starting RB/WR leaves game‘, Franchise mode glitch, Solo battle rewards missing, half-time freezing, and more so be sure to check them out.

As if the existing issues weren’t enough trouble already, a new one has now made an appearance. Plenty of Madden 22 players have reported that they’re not getting any rewards even after claiming Twitch drops.

I’m realizing I had the wrong email account email adress put in for the twitch drops for watching the madden 22 mcs stream . Is there a way you can help me transfer the drops over to the correct email please. Thankyou!

I watched the madden 22 stream for the twitch drops trying to get the tokens for the tyreek hill card and I claimed my drops and still haven’t received anything and my account is already linked.

Daily drops are normally awarded after connecting one’s EA account with Twitch or Prime Gaming accounts. One can even watch live streams for Madden NFL Football after going through with the process.

However, simply connecting the accounts doesn’t grant access to all rewards. You also have to watch live streams, earn daily drops, and then claim them.

Anyway, coming to our issue, while there are many who aren’t able to claim any of the Twitch drops, there are also plenty of players saying they are only able to claim some.

The rest of the bunch can’t be claimed because they show a “Connection required” status even after fulfilling all the connection requirements.

We were unable to come across any workarounds for the annoying issue with rewards that are given out by Madden 22 Twitch drops but EA Help has now said the following on the matter.

As clear from the above acknowledgment, EA has seen multiple reports from players, is aware of the issue, and is already working on a fix. An ETA for a fix wasn’t given but we are positive that it should be soon enough.

In the meantime, check out our dedicated gaming section for more of such stories regarding bugs and issues along with workarounds for them, if any.

Update 1 (September 09)

03:40 pm (IST): EA support has shared the following details regarding missing Twitch drops in response to a user’s complaint:

We have our team investigating this and we hope that all eligible players will receive their rewards soon. Remember that it can take 4 hours to receive the content in-game. Please also close Madden NFL 22 and relaunch to refresh your rewards. (Source)
