Xiaomi is still working on MIUI 12 as the latest custom skin keeps on getting new features and improvements.

MIUI 12 beta updates have brought many new features and improvements to the MIUI Camera app, Mi Browser, and more.

Now, Xiaomi has released another MIUI 12 closed beta with several changes to new App Vault, lock screen, and notifications.

The update version 20.11.10 is out for internal testers and brings Dark Mode to new App Vault along with a new UI for the lock screen notification settings.

Apart from that, there are new options for grouped notifications making it easier to categorize notifications as per users’ requirements.

New App Vault Dark Mode

While the latest beta update is currently available only for internal testers, the same is expected to hit the public/weekly beta channel in China very soon.

Also, these changes will first be made available on the stable channel in China and then later the global stable version might get the same.

However, it is unclear how long this will take to transpire or whether the OEM will indeed roll out these changes as no official announcements have been made on the matter.

New grouped notifications

Xiaomi has been working tirelessly to improve the user experience on its latest custom skin and such updates only show the OEM’s dedication to stay on top of its game.

It has been over six months since the latest custom skin was announced, but there are still a few Xiaomi devices that are yet to bag the MIUI 12 update.

Nevertheless, it is good to see that the OEM is still striving to deliver the much awaited custom skin update to the remaining devices and improving existing ones.
