Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 is already packed with a lot of features and customization options but the beta development is still on which means more improvements are nigh.

We have already seen improvements for Mi Browser, Super Wallpapers, and Dark Mode in previous beta updates and these changes might eventually hit the stable channel.

Now, another improvement has surfaced with the latest MIUI 12 beta update version 20.10.21 which is out in China.

While the latest beta update is available only for Xiaomi’s beta testers in China, the small yet handy user experience enhancement might reach the stable channel in future.

The latest custom skin beta update brings the click vibration effect to the device details button in the settings.

This means that users will get haptic feedback while tapping on the device details (My Device section in MIUI 12) button.

This is not a major change but a small improvement which simply makes the user experience more interactive.

However, it is unclear when Xiaomi is planning to implement this change in the MIUI 12 stable versions as no official announcements have been made on the same yet.

Also, any new changes in the latest custom skin will first be made available in China and then the global ROMs will get them based on feasibility.

An example would be the latest MIUI 12 stable update which brought some new features to the Mi 10 Ultra in China.

Nevertheless, it is unclear whether all those changes will make their way to the global ROMs or when it is going to happen.

That said, we will keep tracking the development of Xiaomi’s latest custom skin and will provide more details once new information becomes available.
